Dunstable sits at the foot of the Chilterns where the Roman Watling Street crosses the ancient Icknield Way, and it has been a road town ever since. Today that means the A5, the M1 at junctions 11 and 11a, and a busway running east into Luton.
It runs into Houghton Regis and effectively into Luton itself, so in practice we treat the two as one visit area. Sixteen miles from us, and a routine run for security fitting.
Much of central Dunstable and Houghton Regis is inter-war and post-war housing with limited off-street parking, so a lot of cars spend the night on the road. Combine that with the A5 and two M1 junctions within a couple of miles and you have the two conditions that matter most: a car that is accessible and unobserved, and a quick route away from it. Neither is unusual — but together they are the argument for stopping the car being driven rather than relying on anyone noticing.

Had my Mercedes C180 in with Kaine to replace both front suspension springs. I knew that this was not an easy job on this car. Dropped the car off in the morning and it was ready that afternoon. He did an amazing job and I'll be recommending him to friends and family for any work that they need doing. 5 stars!
Had my Audi S3 in for a complete overhaul — Kaine supplied and fitted all the parts, including cam belt, water pump, a full service and a balance shaft delete. He also noticed one of my rear callipers was sticking, so recommended and fitted a new calliper and new rear discs and pads too. A 5 star service — I'll only use Kaine from now on for any mechanical work.
Exceptional experience with Kaine. Came out to me, took my car and fixed it all within two hours. Very impressed and will definitely call him if needed again. Great price.

Usually yes, and around Dunstable and Houghton Regis it is often easier than at home, because there is space to work and the car sits still all day. Check with whoever runs the site first — we need to park the van beside your car for a couple of hours, and some estates want that arranged in advance.
Not for fitting security — the fitted price is the price, wherever you are in our coverage, and if somewhere is too far we will say so when you call rather than adding a charge to cover it. Everything else we come out to carries a £60 call-out, because that is us bringing the workshop to a job that would normally come to us.
